Tariff: Guests should obtain the ‘Room Rate’s’ from reception. The tariff is for the room only, either breakfast is included or excluded in the rate. Meals and other services are available at extra costs.

Settlement of Bills/Payment Policy: Bills must be settled on presentation. Cheques are not accepted. Payment can be made by way of bank draft or by electronic transfer into our bank account. A Reservation will be confirmed once 50% deposit payment is received.
All Rates are quoted in South African Rands

Cancellation policy:
In the event of notification of cancellation, the following cancellation fee shall apply on the full booking:
More than 30 days prior to arrival             : 0% cancellation fee
More than 7 days prior to arrival               : 50% cancellation fee
Less than 7 days prior to arrival               : 100% cancellation fee

Departure/Check Out Time: is 10:00am. The guests shall vacate the room allotted to him/her on expiry of the period of occupation granted to the guest. On failure of the guest to vacate the room on expiry of the period, the management shall have the right to remove the guest and his/her belongings from the rooms occupied by such guests.  In such a case whereby the guests is in possession of the key after the check out time (10am) on the day of departure, then the guests would be liable for a late checkout fee or payment for the extra day/night.

Damage to Property: The guest/s will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the lodge/B & B property caused by themselves, their friend or any person for whom they are responsible.

Managements Rights: The guest will conduct himself/herself in a respectable manner and not cause any nuisance or annoyance within the lodge premises. The management reserves to itself the absolute right of admission to any person in the lodge premises. Access to the guest rooms and other private areas are strictly restricted only to the guests registered in the lodge. No guest or visitor other than those registered with the lodge will be allowed to go up to the guest rooms. No guest shall be allowed to consume any food or beverage brought from outside the lodge in any common area in the lodge.
The management has the right to request any guest to vacate his or her room or other areas of the lodge forthwith, without previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In default, the management shall have the right to remove the guest and guest luggage and belongings from the room occupied by him/her. The management shall have the right to change the room allotted to the guest at any time, without assigning any reason, to any other suitable accommodation. No Gambling of any sort would be entertained in the lodge premises.
Management reserves the rights to inspect all rooms on departure.

Visitors Procedure: No visitors allowed unless arranged by management. Visitors may be allowed at the restaurant and bar during restaurant operating hours only.

Pets: No pets allowed in and around the lodge premises.

Absent: If any guest absents himself/herself from the room for such length of time whereby it causes concern to management, then suitable action will be taken to vacate the room of personal belongings.

Use of Lodge facilities: The guest shall use all the facilities and services available at the hotel with care and caution and entirely at the guest’s risk. The management shall not be responsible for any injury to the guest or damage to the guest’s property that may be caused as a result of use of facilities, services or any other reason whatsoever.

Hazardous Goods: Goods of any combustible or hazardous nature and/or goods objectionable nature are prohibited. The guest shall be solely liable and responsible to the management, other guests, invitees, visitors, agents and staff for all loss, financial or other and damage that may be caused by such articles or as a result of the guest’s own negligence and non-observance of any/all instructions.

Relation between Management and Guests: Nothing herein above shall constitute or be deemed to constitute or create any sub-tenancy or any other right or interest in the lodge premises or any part of the possession thereof in favour of any guest or resident or visitor and the management shall always be deemed to be in full and absolute possession and control of the whole lodge premises.

Food & Beverages: Guests are allowed to bring food and beverage items from outside the lodge, however management will in no way be responsible for any consequences that may occur. Cooking of food and use of electrical appliances is strictly prohibited in the rooms and lodge premises.

Room Keys: Guests are requested to drop off room keys at reception only at all times leaving the lodge premises since no key deposit charged, however should the guests requests to leave with the room key, a refundable cash key deposit of R100.00 must be paid at reception only. Guests are requested to hand over keys at reception for room cleaning, by handing over keys at reception entitles management to proceed with the room services.

Additional Linen: Should any guests request additional linen there will be a charge per item requested.

Guests Belongings: Guests are particularly requested to lock their door in their rooms when going out or when going to bed. The management will not, in anyway whatsoever, be responsible for any loss/ or damage to guest’s belongings or any other property from lodge room or any other part of the lodge for any cause whatsoever including theft or pilferage.

Company’s Lien on Guest’s Luggage and Belongings: In the case of default in payment of dues by a guest, the management shall have a lien on the luggage and belongings and be entitled to detain the same and to sell or auction such property at any time without reference to the guest and approach the net sale proceeds towards the amount due by the guest without prejudice to the managements right to adopt such further recovery proceedings as may be required.

Car Parking: Guest’s cars being parked in the lodge premises are at the guest’s sole risk as to loss or damage from any cause. Only in house guest’s cars may be parked in the lodge premises and limited parking to the number of rooms occupied too.

Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited in all parts of the rooms and passages. All South African smoking laws apply.  

Application of Laws, Government Rules and Regulations: The guest is requested to observe, and abide by, conform to and be bound to all applicable acts and laws and the government rules and regulations in force from time to time. 

Amendment of Rules: The management reserves to itself the right to add, alter or amend any of the above terms, conditions and rules.
